Calvus Cichlid

The Calvus Cichlid, also known as the "Humphead Cichlid", is a species of cichlid native to Lake Tanganyika in East Africa. They are known for their distinct hump on their head that develops as they mature. These fish are peaceful, but can become territorial when breeding. In the wild, Calvus Cichlids feed on small shellfish, crustaceans, and small fish. In the aquarium, they should be given a diet of high-quality dry food, frozen or live food, and some vegetables.
